At ThrIVewell, we believe the infusion experience should be personal, comforting, and patient centered. This month, we’re excited to spotlight Caterina Amato, whose dedication and compassionate approach help make that vision a reality.
Finding Her Calling in Infusion Therapy
Caterina’s journey began in Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant nursing, where she discovered a deep connection with her patients during their infusion treatments.
“It was during those moments,” she shares, “that I could sit with patients, guide them through their journey, and offer unwavering support.”
This passion for patient-centered care ultimately led her to ThrIVewell, where she continues to make a meaningful impact every day.
Building Trust and Comfort from Afar
Though Caterina works remotely, her impact is deeply personal and ever-present. From the first referral, she reaches out to patients and families to guide them through the infusion process, answer questions, and ease anxieties. “I make it clear I’m here for them—before, during, and after their infusions,” she explains. Through open communication and thoughtful follow-ups, Caterina ensures that patients feel supported, valued, and never alone throughout their treatment journey.
Finding Motivation in Every Moment
For Caterina, the most rewarding part of her work is witnessing patients’ fears ease and seeing them grow more comfortable through the support they receive.
“At ThrIVewell, patients are always our priority. Being part of a team that feels like family makes this work so much more than just a job—it’s a true passion,” she says.
We’re proud to have compassionate team members like Caterina who embody what it means to care with heart, connection, and expertise.
