This year’s NICA Conference in Miami was a vital gathering of industry leaders, partners, and innovators united by a shared commitment to advancing the infusion care space.
The event began with Infusion Access Foundation’s “Toast” dinner, and it was a meaningful evening dedicated to supporting patient advocacy. Beyond the Havana-themed celebration, the night underscored the critical work being done to ensure access to life-changing therapies.
Throughout the conference, we had the opportunity to engage in productive conversations with vendor partners, pharmaceutical leaders, and fellow stakeholders. These discussions focused not just on operational collaboration, but on addressing the larger issues facing our field- from navigating restrictive insurance policies to reimagining what truly patient-centered infusion care should look like.
Across conversations, panels, and vendor showcases, one thing was clear: infusion care is evolving with more precision and purpose than ever before. The focus is shifting from access alone to access with ease, with coordination, and with sustainability.
We left inspired by the momentum building across the industry. Collaborating with organizations like Annexus Health and Tennr reinforced the power of aligned goals and shared values.
Attending NICA is a great way to advocate, innovate, and elevate care for the patients we serve. We’re already looking ahead to next year with renewed focus and purpose.
