We believe that every patient deserves more than exceptional clinical care. They deserve a place where they feel comfortable, supported, and truly known. No matter where someone comes from, when they walk through the doors of a Thrivewell center, it becomes their infusion clinic.
At our Lexington, Kentucky location, the team created a unique way to celebrate the journeys our patients take to receive care. A large map hangs in the center, allowing patients to place a pin marking where they traveled from for their infusion appointments. What began as a simple idea has become a powerful visual reminder of the trust our patients place in us every day.
For many patients in Kentucky, traveling more than an hour for specialty infusion care is not uncommon. Yet despite the distance, they continue to choose Thrivewell because of the relationships they build with their care teams and the experience they receive during every visit.
Recently, the map received a special addition.
Justine, a patient who had her first infusion with the Lexington team last year, returned for care all the way from Georgia. Her experience with the team had such a lasting impact that she chose to come back to the same center and the same caregivers she trusted. To recognize her journey, the team expanded the map and added the state of Georgia.
While it may seem like a small gesture, it represents something much bigger.
Stories like Justine’s remind us that what we are building at Thrivewell goes far beyond treatment. We are creating environments where patients feel connected, valued, and supported throughout their healthcare journey. The miles traveled, the pins on a map, and the familiar faces waiting to welcome them back all tell the same story: trust matters.
Every pin on that board represents a patient who chose Thrivewell. Every return visit represents a relationship built on compassion and consistency. And every day, we are honored to be part of those journeys.
